Climax Uranium Mill records, 1942-1976.

Collection contains maintenance-related reports, correspondence, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings retained by Climax Uranium Mill's maintenance superintendent, George K. Burnhart. Burnhart was also employed at Independent Coal & Coke Company's Kenilworth Mine in Utah, and as a result, there are maintenance files related to that mine's systems as well. Also included is a file of Climax reports and inner-office memorandums covering topics such as tailings disposal, acceptable levels of radiation exposure, inspections, and research studies.
